The URL Generator allows you to quickly create trackable affiliate links for any page on the website. These links automatically include your affiliate reference, which ensures that all visits and conversions are properly tracked. You can also create short links for easier sharing across social media, emails, ads, and campaigns.

URL Generator Fields Breakdown

• URL: Enter the full website URL you want to promote. This can be a product page, landing page, blog post, or any valid site link.

• Campaign (Optional): Add a campaign name to track specific marketing efforts (e.g., black-friday, summer-sale, email-campaign). This helps you analyze performance by campaign in your reports.

• Create Short Link: Enable the Create Short Link option to generate a simplified, share-friendly version of your affiliate URL.

If this feature is not showing, you have to make sure that your admin has enabled this option. Admin can enable this from Site Dashboard → WC Affiliate → Settings → Short Links.

• Generate URL: Click the Generate URL button to create your affiliate tracking link.

Shortlink URL Preview: Displays the structure of your short link before generation. The final short link will follow this format once created.

Generated URLs Section

After generating a link, it will appear in the Generated URLs area. From here, you can:

• Copy your affiliate URL
• Share it directly with your audience
• Use it in ads, emails, or social media campaigns

If no links are generated yet, this section will remain empty until you create one.

Shortlinks Table Breakdown

• Affiliate URL: The full tracking URL containing your affiliate reference and optional campaign parameter.
• Shortlink URL: The shortened version of your affiliate link, designed for easier sharing.
• Date: Displays when the short link was created.
• Actions: Allows you to manage the link (e.g., copy or delete).

Using the URL Generator ensures accurate tracking of your referrals and helps you measure the effectiveness of your promotional campaigns.
